The Wine Industry Potential in Northeastern Connecticut -- A Feasibility Study

The study of the feasibility of establishing a wine industry in Windham County, Connecticut was sponsored by the Israel Putnam County Tourist Council Inc., as part of its effort to promote business diversification through the introduction of new tourist related industries. Additionally the County desired to explore ways to diversify the local economy, to use effectively its unspoiled rural beauty and to enhance its reputation as a tourist destination.
