Northwestern Gulf of Mexico Topographic Features Study. Executive Summary of the Final Report

This is a final report of a study in the Gulf of Mexico. The work effort is a continuation of FY76 efforts that were previously reported, and includes mapping, sampling, submersible and monitoring efforts on selected banks in the Gulf of Mexico. Studies include: current measurements, hydrography, dye emission, drift bottles, descriptive geology, sedimentology, suspended sedient dispersal descriptive biology, the East Flower Garden Bank monitoring system, hydrocarbons and trace metals in macronekton and Spondylus, high molecular weight hydrocarbons in sediments, the chemial aspect of the brine lake at the East Flower Garden Bank, and the meiofauna and macroinfauna of selected banks.
