摘要

The report contains the responses to questions asked in personal interviews with a sample of elementary and high school students in Harlem, New York City. The questions asked of the students were designed to elicit an insight into their skills and career plans; how they and their friends find school; their recommendations about how to deal with peers who disturb the class; what they know about job information and jobs; and what the mayor could do to improve the educational system.
