摘要

The final report contains an overview of project results,an interpretation of what has been learned,and some implications for blood collection policy. This document contains much less data and considers most issues at a higher level of aggregation than is the case for Technical Report 139. This report includes discussion of some issues relating to personal 'closeness'to the need for blood (knowing a person who has received a blood transfusion) and some issues relating to exdonors which do not appear in TR 139.
