摘要

Computer software was developed to process particle size spectrometer and thermodynamic data obtained with the T-28hail research aircraft. Five computer programs were developed to optimize the data reduction techniques. Program 1reduces the standard meteorological data and presents 2-D images. Program 2is used to plot the standard meteorological data. Program 3is used for reducing and plotting particle size spectra measurements obtained with the 2-D probe,foil impactor and hail spectrometer probe,and in deriving microphysical parameters. Program 4is used to derive the liquid water depletion time constants, dBZ growth rate,ice particle temperatures,and sedimentation velocities within the updraft. Program 5is used to derive the microphysical parameters from a programmable calculator.
