The report summarizes activities associated with the Federal Program to assess the biological effects of nonionizing electromagnetic (radio frequency) radiation (0-300GHz) being coordinated by the National Telecommunications and Information Administration. It covers Calendar Years 1976, 1977,and early 1978and includes information on research in progress during Fiscal Years 1977and 1978. An overview of program progress and funding is presented. Publications and presentations representative of program activity are cited. Relevant legislation,standards (on a worldwide basis) and various non-federal activities are also included.
