摘要

This report is the result of a continuing study to establish the feasibility of shellfish production and a vertical integrated food processing plant. The Shinnecock Reservation Bay is suitable for utilizing present day restocking methods and hatchery techniques, the possibility exists for developing a new shellfish industry on Eastern Long Island. The program was divided into three phases. The hatchery was also designed to prove the feasibility of a future full-scale shellfish hatchery.
