The study presents an economic impact analysis of alternative pollution control technologies for the insulation board and wet process hardboard subcategories of the timber products industry. It characterizes each industry subsegment; summarizes alternative technologies and their related costs of compliance, and analyzes and discusses the anticipated economic impact on those plants that would require investments to be in compliance with alternative regulation options.
