摘要

The paper documents the mathematical form and computational framework of the Douglas-fir tussock moth (DFTM) stand-outbreak model. The model is constructed to simulate outbreaks of Douglas-fir tussock moth (Orgyia pseudotsugata), a defoliator of Douglas-fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii), and the true firs (Abies spp.) in western North America.
