Machines for Cleaning and Sorting of Seeds

摘要

Separation processes, that is, the cleaning and sorting of seed, like most agricultural processes, make use of the different physical properties of the material being processed. Higher yields and economic reasons are forcing man to intensify separation processes by applying new, better methods, e.g., vibration or electrostatic methods. The purpose of this work is to help those concerned to acquire better knowledge and understanding of the separation processes used in agriculture as well as the methods of and equipment for seed cleaning and sorting.
