摘要

One of the technologically important and fast developing areas of the Indian pump industry is the manufacture of chemical and process pumps. In order to bring about a good rapport among the manufacturers, users and consultants, this workshop was organized. In all, 14 papers covering different aspects of selection, operation and maintenance were presented and discussed during the five sessions. The proceedings is divided into 3 parts: (a) Inaugural Session; (b) Discussions during the five technical sessions; and (c) Conclusions arrived at by the six panels during the sixth session.
