Research on Youth Employment and Employability Development: Schooling and Work among Youths from Low-Income Households

This volume reports on the findings of a survey of employment and schooling patterns among low-income youth. The survey was conducted as a baseline study for the Youth Incentive Entitlement Pilot Projects (YIEPP). Over 7,500 youth residing in both YIEPP and non-YIEPP sites participated. The study analyzed the relationships between a number of socioeconomic factors and the employment and educational experience of disadvantaged youth.
