Factors Affecting the Rotational Rigidity of Joints Made with Metal Plates

摘要

Moment-rotation curves for joints subjected to bending are shown and analysed. The principle of a reduced moment is discussed and the effect of the gap between the timber members is considered with tentative design proposals being given for the latter.
