Leadership Training Workshops for N. C. Rape Crisis Center

摘要

Seven leadership training workshops for the North Carolina Rape Crisis Center were conducted and evaluated. Standards were created, skills for fund raising and liaison were taught and a two-volume manual documenting and evaluating the workshop series was written. The training emphasized using community resources to professionalize and institutionalize organizations. Networking developed between Rape Crises Centers within their own communities out of the topic workshop series' explicit training.
