Calcia Stabilized Zirconia Castable

摘要

This report presents the results of research on castable refractories made from calcium aluminate and zirconia suitable for use in high temperature furnaces. The results indicated that reductions in the amounts of zirconia compared with conventional materials were possible with resultant materials and energy cost savings. The new formulations were demonstrated in producing refractory kiln furniture.
