Transactions in New and Existing Homes. Appendix A: Hedonic Indexes

This appendix contains the estimates of hedonic coefficients used to calculate new and existing home prices for the 59 Standard Metropolitan Statistical Areas (SMSA's) of the 1974, 1975, and 1976 Annual Housing Surveys. A discussion of the estimation procedure can be found in the basic report. The estimates for each SMSA are grouped by year of survey, and within each year they are in alphabetical order. Hedonic variable definitions and a list of locational variables precede the estimates. (Author abstract modified).
