Union's economic adjustment strategy involves a three-fold approach: first, efforts to create new jobs in Union will be focused on attracting manufacturing plants; second, immediate efforts will begin to develop additional acreage suitable for manufacturing; and, third, employment growth must be carefully planned to avoid adverse impacts on the community's public facilities.
