The One-Parent/One-Child Family: Social and Psychological Consequences

摘要

The single purpose of the research was to explore the dynamics of living in a single-parent family with an only child. This research used intensive, in-depth interviews with women in one-parent/one-child families which were compared with one-parent/two-child, one parent/three-child and two-parent/one-child families. A total of 110 interviews were completed.
