A Computer Program to Map Tree Crown Shadows in the Urban Forest

This FORTRAN IV computer program maps the location of tree crown shadows. The tree crown profile must be approximately spherical or elliptical. Site and tree data are required, and the operator specifies the date and frequency of mapping. An example shows the maps are accurate if the tree data are recorded and entered accurately.
