The report is an analysis and projection of potential impacts to the sociocultural system of Kodiak City, Alaska of petroleum development in the Gulf of Alaska. Included are: (1) a baseline statement of the sociocultural system's current status; (2) a projection of where that system will be by the year 2000 without petroleum development; and (3) projections of the impacts to that system from three hypothetical levels of petroleum development through the year 2000.
