Market for Guayule Rubber

The commercial potential of the guayule shrub is examined to evaluate the possible roles of the private sector and the Federal government in establishing and operating such an industry. An analysis of the potential market for guayule rubber is presented. Facets of the study include future demand for all elastomers, future supplies of all elastomers, and future price relationships between synthetic and natural rubbers.
