Paleontological Resources Evaluation: West Divide Project

摘要

A survey of the literature on the paleontological resources of the rock formations in the West Divide Project area revealed the presence of several fossil-rich sites in or near the proposed construction zone. The field investigation concentrated on these sites with the object of assessing the impact of the project on them. The investigators concluded that in view of the unique scientific values of these sites, mitigation in the form of fossil recovery should be considered.
