Archaeological Investigation of Ten Specified Locales in the Falls Lake Reservoir Area, Falls Lake, North Carolina: Phase II

Archaeological investigations of 10 locales in the Falls Lake Reservoir in the upper drainage of the Neuse River in Graham, Wake, and Durham Counties, North Carolina were conducted. It was carried out in order to determine the eligibility or ineligibility of these sites for listing in the National Register of Historic Places. Field techniques consisted of extensive surface collection, shovel-testing and manual excavation of a limited number of test units in each site.
