Research and Data Needs Committee Water Supply and Wastewater Treatment Task Force of the Working Group on Small Community and Rural Development. Task Force Report

摘要

The Research and Data Needs Committee, Water Supply and Wastewater Treatment Task Force of the Working Group on Small Community and Rural Development has identified and assigned priorities to the various research and data requirements critical to attainment of the objectives of the Administration's rural development policy. The requirements are listed in priority order in the text, reflecting a concensus of opinion of Task Force members drawn from seven Federal agencies and organizations. Beyond the identification and prioritization of research and data needs, the Task Force has also developed a set of recommendations relating to improved coordination of rural development research, dissemination of research findings and the streamlining of Federal assistance delivery systems.
