Evaluation of Forest Service Pest Management Programs. Decision-Making Model for Integrated Pest Management. Phase II

This document is one component in an evaluation of Forest Service pest management and research programs. In contrast to the issue-oriented case study approach taken in the other components of the evaluation, this report describes and tests a conceptual decisionmaking model for integrated pest management (IPM). The model is intended to depict an ideal IPM system. A comparison of this 'ideal' with actual Forest Service operations provides information on how existing programs could be improved.
