Developing a Financial Management Information System for Local Governments: The Key Issues

A symposium to discuss the key issues local governments must consider in developing a computer-based financial information system--including software and hardware--was held at Cleveland State University in Ohio. Its primary focus was to assist the city of Cleveland which was in the midst of planning a major revision of its system.
