Economic Information for the U.S. Farm Sector: A Revised Format

A new set of accounts have been developed to facilitate subsector comparisons of the farm production sector. Concepts and term definitions of the new accounts are given in the first part of this publication. A description of the accounts, namely asset, asset flow, production transaction, cash transactions and farm operator accounts, follow. Some disaggregations proposed are geographic distribution, size distribution, and farm type distribution.
