A Synthesis of Research Studies on Hospital Productivity. Volume II: Synopsis of the Literature, and Summary of Selected Data Bases and Productivity Monitoring Systems

摘要

The primary objective of this project is to provide health planners and policymakers with an overall assessment of the current state-of-the-art on the measurement of hospital productivity. The accomplishment of this objective has required an analysis, summary, comparison, and synthesis of existing research on hospital productivity and measurement, as well as classification of hospital productivity measures in a context useful for health policymaking and planning.
