Applications of Remote Sensing in Hydrology

This report is a summary of the potential applications of remote sensing in the field of hydrology. It includes an introduction to remote sensing, the physical principles of electromagnetic energy and many of the available sensors. Operational uses and research applications of remote sensing in areas related to watershed management are summarized.
