Conference on Mycotoxins in Animal Feeds and Grains Related to Animal Health Held at Rockville, Maryland on June 13, 1980

Four comprehensive reviews on the available published literature were prepared as monographs on the following mycotoxins in animal feed and grains related to animal health: Ergots, Pyrrolizidine alkaloids, Rubratoxin, Sterigmatoxystin, Stachybotryotoxin, Citrinin, Penicillic Acid, and Xanthomegnin. Each review covered natural occurrence levels, toxicity, metabolism, mode of action, chemical properties, control, analytical methods and detection. Highlights on each monograph were presented at this conference and each discussion session is included.
