One of the activities of the Coordinating Center Models Project Research Group (CCMP) has been to assemble a library of documents to form the nucleus of a bibliographic resource dealing with clinical trials. Documents included in the bibliography contain information applicable to the design, planning, organization, management, operations and analysis of multicenter clinical trials. The procedures used for identifying papers and documents for inclusion and a description of the classification, storage and retrieval system are provided. Summaries of information retrievable from established indices and from the CCMP bibliography are presented.
