Lung Mechanics in Occupational Respiratory Disease

摘要

The mechanics of lung functioning in occupational respiratory diseases were studied in laboratory animals. Results of experiments involving gas formation in isolated lungs were summarized. The author concludes that meniscus formation is an indicator of pulmonary disease that affects the diameter, length, or fluid surface properties of the airways in the peripheral part of the lung.
