The goals of Sea Grant in northern New England are best understood in the context of three major areas of activity: Living marine resources, marine environmental research, and marine advisory services and education. These activities are discussed under the following headings: Fisheries dynamics; Interspecies dynamics and restoration; Aquaculture; and Seaweed research.
