The goal of the TAAC is to assist firms to recover from the adverse affects of foreign imports. The goal is reached by the TAAC assisting the firm in submitting a certification petition. TAAC assists the firm in diagnosing its problems and putting together an adjustment plan. If the adjustment plan is accepted by EDA, the TAAC assists the firm in implementing the plan with technical and/or loan assistance. This report covers the period September 15, 1979 to June 30, 1980.
