Compactibility of Asphalt Paving Mixtures and Relation to Permanent Deformation

This paper has presented the results of a laboratory investigation to determine the relation between per¬manent deformation characteristics of asphalt paving mixes defined in terms of stiffness valles derived from static creep tests and the compactibility of these mixes in terms of resistance to different Marshall compaction levels. A dense gradation of an asphalt concrete surface mix has been considered in this analysis at three different Levels of both fil¬ler content and binder content.
