Proceedings of the GRI (Gas Research Institute) Gas Separations Workshop (1st) Held at Denver, Colorado on October 22-23, 1981

The purpose of the GRI-sponsored workshop at Denver, Colorado (October 22-23, 1981) is to provide an opportunity for informal presentations and discussions of R&D, technology needs, and opportunities pertaining to the separation of gaseous compounds. The meeting dealt with liquefaction and distillation, adsorption, absorption, membrane separations, and other less known approaches to gas separation such as use of coordination complexes, thermochemical cycles, biological separations, and electrochemical methods. A brief assessment of the state-of-the-art is also provided as well as suggestions for future research.
