Safety Information Profile Liquefied Natural Gas-Usage in Industry

Safety and health hazards associated with the industrial use of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) are profiled. LNG operations, potential hazards and current hazard control technology are described, and several case studies of LNG related accidents are cited. Listings of the possibly applicable Standard Industrial Classification Codes as well as the smaller and larger LNG facilities are included. Applicable codes, regulations, and guidelines for the design, construction, and operation of LNG facilities are listed.
