Environmental air samples were analyzed for carbon-monoxide (630080), ozone (10028156), and formaldehyde (50000) at the Atlanta Jewish Federation (SIC-8321), in Atlanta, Georgia, on October 23, 1980. In addition, general office ventilation was evaluated, the heating and air conditioning system inspected, and six employees were interviewed. Air samples were free of detectable amounts of carbon-monoxide, ozone, and formaldehyde. Three of the six employees interviewed complained of fatigue and eye irritation. Predominant complaints were related to the odor generated by an electronic stencil machine. A lack of fresh air entering the building, caused by a closed fresh air duct of the central air conditioning system, was also noted.
