Noise Emission Standards for Motorcycles and Motorcycle Exhaust Systems

On December 31, 1980 the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency issued final noise emission standards for motorcycles and motorcycle exhaust systems. In a separate action, also on December 31, 1980, the Agency issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking for amending the testing requirements of the final regulations. The report contains information materials associated with those rulemaking activities.
