Investigation of a Model for Service-Oriented Economic Development in Three Cities

The overall goal of this project was to investigate the potential role of community-based economic development organizations (CBEDOs) in assisting EDA and its network of grantees and contractors through the delivery of health, social, and human services. The project was to be conducted in three cities in which EDA has funded significant economic development efforts: Kansas City, Missouri; St. Louis, Missouri; and Detroit, Michigan. This report presents the results of IED's investigations.
