Physician Job Satisfaction and Retention in Prison Health Programs

The study examines the personal and organizational factors associated with physicians' decisions to leave or stay in the prison setting. The conclusion reached is that the factors influencing these decisions, are so diverse that a strategy to increase physician retention in prisons is not feasible.
