Synthesis and Dissemination of Health Services Research for State and Municipal Health Leaders: Long Term Care Options and Issues in State Programs

摘要

This bibliography has been compiled in order to supplement the information provided in two syntheses of the research literature entitled, 'Cost Containment in Long Term Care: Options and Issues in State Program Design,' and 'Expanding Long Term Care Efforts: Options and Issues in State Program Design.' The bibliography is divided into two sections. The first section contains a complete listing of the studies cited or referred to in the course of the preparation of the syntheses. The second section contains detailed descriptions of the major studies reviewed for the syntheses, presenting information on the studies reviewed for the syntheses, representing information on the studies' purposes, methodologies and major findings. Whenever possible, these descriptions have been drawn from abstracts, summaries, or other text that was part of the study.
