A Study of the Costs and Effectiveness of Various Food Establisment Registration Strategies

The report presents the findings of a study conducted to assess the relative effectiveness and costs of three alternative approaches to identifying 57,000 food establishments subject to the FD&C Act. Three alternative methods of food establishment inventory maintenance were compared--no registration (the current system), one-time registration, and annual registration.
