To Breathe Clean Air: Report of the National Commission on Air Quality

摘要

Congress established the National Commission on Air Quality under the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1977 to make an independent analysis of air pollution control and alternative strategies for achieving the goals of the Act. The 13-member Commission was charged with compiling and assessing information on environmental, technological, scientific, and social issues relating to air quality policy. This report provides a basis for the continuing examination of programs for achieving the protection of public health and welfare and the preservation of clean air.
