Survey Results: The Diversity and Research Interests of Hospices in the Northwest

This report summarizes the results of a survey of 42 hospices based in the Northwest. The purpose of the survey was two-fold: (1) to determine the major organizational and service characteristics of Northwest hospices and (2) to assess the research interests of hospice providers. Phone interviews were conducted with staff from 10 programs in the planning stages and 32 operational hospices.
