Mitigating the Impacts of Energy Facilities: A Local Air quality Program for the Wilmington, North Carolina Area

A system of air quality analysis and review which will anticipate and mitigate coastal energy facility-related air quality impacts in the Wilmington (N.C.) area is presented. A planning approach to air quality management is recommended to the Cape Fear Council of Governments to evaluate alternative emissions scenarios, select the preferred path for economic development, and protect health and property from deleterious impacts of air pollution.
