Fish and Wildlife Resources of the Great Lakes Coastal Wetlands within the United States. Volume 1: Overview

A total of 1370 coastal wetlands were identified along the U.S. coast of the Great Lakes (within 1000 feet of the lake shoreline). Each wetland is identified; topography, soils, hydrology, climate, biotic setting and cultural setting are used to describe the wetlands. Public utilities, pollution sources and historical features are also mentioned. Lists of flora and fauna are provided.
