This report evaluates potential air and marine transportation systems impacts in Unalaska, Cold Bay, and St. Paul, Alaska following the proposed St. George Basin OCS lease sale 70, scheduled for February 1983. A detailed description of existing and anticipated transportation facilities and services is included for each of these communities. Forecasts of air and marine transportation demands without the economic influence of the lease sale area developed as a base case for comparative analysis. Petroleum development scenarios serve as forces of economic change following the lease sale.
