Report on the Patient Population Demographics and Selected Outcome Measures for the CAPD Patient Registry

The report summarizes the patient registration and status report data from the 13 centers particpating in the pilot project of the Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis Patient Registry, from January 1, 1981 through September 30, 1981. The data include age, race and sex statistics, renal disease, mobility status, hours worked per week, episodes of peritonitis, organism culture results, hospital admissions and days hospitalized, catheter infections and replacements and selected other outcome data.
