Measurement of Tampon Absorbency; Evaluation of Tampon Brands

In an earlier report, a protocol for the measurement of tampon absorbency was evaluated. The Syngyna Test, slightly modified for this study, was used to measure the tampon absorbency of all brands of tampons which are currently marketed. This report presents the net weight of the absorbed fluid and the Absorption Efficiency of each brand.
